Published content has lasting value. JPPHealth, owned by Care Hospitals Saudi Arabia and published by Waraqa Evidence Company, is hosted by Discover STM Publishing Ltd, which preserves the content in a systematic way, even if the journal stops publishing or the publisher ceases to operate. The following arrangements are in place.

Routine website backups

At least one backup is made every 24 hours, and a copy is stored on three different devices.

Archiving with discovery services

Content is supplied regularly to discovery services, and some of them also receive XML and full-text PDF files. The services are listed on the Abstracting and Indexing page of the journal website.

Permanent preservation

Arrangements are in place with Portico so that all content remains available if the journal ceases to publish or the publisher goes out of business. Portico activates perpetual access rights when needed.

DOIs and persistent links

Articles are registered with Crossref and receive a DOI once the journal is registered, so that citations keep working when content moves.
